Guided by the Holy Spirit, our Father Immediate, Dom Scott Dilworth and the community discerned that Sr. Claire Bouttin would lead our community effective July 28, 2025, as Superior.
Sr. Claire entered the French monastery of Chambarand in 1973 and made solemn profession there in 1980. In 2004, she changed her stability to Redwoods. She has been serving the community as novice director and supports the community in various other functions.
The community is grateful to Sr. Kathy DeVico who has been Abbess for 27 years. With wisdom, vision, and care, her leadership has nurtured Redwood’s unique charism and refined it so as to remain true to our monastic tradition.
