Today we commemorate the beautiful Feast of the Visitation when Mary visited Elizabeth. Mary was pregnant with Jesus and Elizabeth with John the Baptist. Scripture tells us the child in Elizabeth’s womb leapt for join in the presence of the Jesus, the son of God and Mary.
What a beautiful Feast to select as a day to profess their final vows. Sr Annette and Sr Ann Marie in vowing Obedience, Stability and Conversion, committed their lives to Christ in a monastic community.
Sr. Annette’s profession was in 2000 and Sr. Ann Marie in 2014. Congratulations to them both.
May the Mary the Mother of God and Elizabeth, her cousin, continue to guide them in their vocation.
